Aliso and Woods Canyon was definitely a cool place, but Matt and I faced undesirable conditions... We went midday, and it was hot. Plus we took a much longer hike than we intended. I'd like to go back early in the morning, or in the evening and try to see some snakes and coyotes. But we still saw some cool birds, lizards, and good views.
